This is a short guide to share with approvers. It covers what happens when something needs your approval in Cliqo and how to deal with it from Microsoft Teams, on your computer or your phone.

You don't need a Business Central licence. You sign in with your normal Microsoft work account. There is no separate password to remember.

1. You get a notification

When a requisition, expense claim or invoice needs you, Cliqo tells you in Microsoft Teams. Depending on how your company has set things up, you may get an email as well.

2. Review the request

Open the request to see what is being asked for: who raised it, the amount, the lines and any attached receipts or invoice copies. Your company’s approval rules decide who needs to approve what.

3. Approve or reject

Approve or reject without leaving Teams. If the request needs another approver after you, Cliqo sends it on automatically. Once everyone has approved, it goes into Business Central automatically and the person who raised it is told.

4. Use Cliqo inside Teams

Cliqo isn't just notifications. You can open the Cliqo app in Teams to browse what is waiting for you and what you have already dealt with, without switching to another system.

On your phone

The same works in the Microsoft Teams mobile app, so you can approve between meetings or while travelling.

Common questions

Why did this request come to me?

Your finance team sets rules based on things like the amount, the department, the project or the budget. You were chosen by those rules. If you think it is wrong, speak to your finance team.

Who do I ask about a request?

Contact the person who raised it, or your finance team for policy questions.

I'm going on holiday. What happens to my approvals?

Let your finance team know before you go, so they can make sure requests still reach someone.
