General
Cliqo is an approval engine for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It covers invoice approval with AI Invoice Capture, requisitions, and expense management including corporate credit cards, all on one workflow engine with approvals in Microsoft Teams. Timesheet approval is coming soon.
No. People who only submit or approve in Cliqo don't need a Business Central licence. Only the people who configure the system need Business Central access, which can significantly reduce your licensing costs.
Most organisations are up and running within hours. Our guided setup wizard walks you through connecting to your tenant, configuring approval workflows, and importing your chart of accounts.
Yes. Approvers are notified in Microsoft Teams and can approve or reject there, and the whole Cliqo app can be used inside Teams. Email approvals are available too.

It is created as a Purchase Order in Business Central automatically, with no re-keying.
Yes. When receipts are recorded in Cliqo, a G/L accrual is posted for the received cost, for items and G/L account lines alike, and it reverses automatically when the supplier invoice arrives. Read our guide to received-not-invoiced accruals.
Yes. Employees create expenses and attach receipt photos from their phone. Once approved, claims are created in Business Central as Purchase Invoices.
Yes. Card statements are sent to each cardholder to add details and receipts, then routed for approval. Personal spend on the card is managed too.
Invoice Capture is part of Invoice Approval. Email supplier invoices into Cliqo or upload the PDF, and Azure AI Document Intelligence reads them and creates the Purchase Invoice or Credit Memo, ready for approval.

Cliqo connects to your Business Central tenant using secure OAuth 2.0 authentication through Microsoft Entra ID, using Microsoft's APIs.

Yes. One Cliqo setup works across multiple Business Central companies and environments, with unlimited approvers and multi-currency support.
Yes. Rules can use header and line data, including dimensions such as department or project, as well as amounts, budgets and your own groupings.

We accept all major credit cards and direct debit (BACS), and can arrange invoicing. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
